Mobility Action Programme with Willis Street PhysioVictoria University and Willis Street Physiotherapy have formed a partnership to assist people with mild to moderate hip or knee joint problems. The programme is funded by the Ministry of Health so there is no cost to participate. Check out these questions:
If you answered yes to any of the questions above then we would love to talk to you. If suitable we will work with your GP to arrange a referral. You will then be assessed by a physiotherapist who will do some treatment and progress you to more strengthening. We are looking for people who are willing to commit to exercising for 12 months. Massage Therapists
Helen Smith delivers remedial massage using a variety of techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, active release, PNF stretching and mobilization. Helen is available on Mondays and Wednesdays at Kelburn campus at 14 Waiteata Road in room 203, and Fridays at Pipitea campus in RH607.
Helen is an Easy-claim provider with Southern Cross. If you have a Wellness Package you are entitled to $500 worth of massages which can be directly paid to Helen from Southern Cross without having to fill in a claim form and wait for reimbursement.

Pam Harris provides therapeutic massage for stress reduction, muscular pain and dysfunction, reduced range of motion, headaches, pregnancy related discomfort/pain, inflammatory conditions, chronic pain, physical and emotional wellbeing. She uses techniques including: Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage Myofascial Release and Relaxation Techniques. Pauline Harper has been a practitioner for more than three decades and has worked with feet in India, London and New Zealand. She has recently extended her studies in Rishikesh in India. Pauline is available on Thursday afternoons by appointment at 14 Waiteata Road in Room 203.
